
Due to COVID-19 the following restrictions are in place in the Belfast Trust outpatients departments:
- Contact the outpatients department for advice before setting out on your journey to your appointment if you have:
- o any symptoms of Covid-19 such as,
- Recent onset of a new continuous cough;
- Or high temperature;
- Or a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste of smell (Anosmia).
- tested positive for Covid-19
- a member in your household who has symptoms of Covid-19 or tested positive for Covid-19
- o any symptoms of Covid-19 such as,
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or alcohol hand sanitiser when entering any healthcare setting and before you leave. It is also good practice to use alcohol hand sanitiser regularly throughout the appointment.
- Please stick to your appointment time and do not arrive early.
- Please follow guidance provided by staff when attending your appointment.
In some settings patients are advised to continue to wear facemasks/ face coverings. These will be available where this is advised. Anyone who wishes to wear a facemask/ face covering regardless of the advice for that area is welcome to do so and this will be respected.
