Belfast Trust Vaccination Centre

The Spring Covid-19 Booster will be available from the 15th April 2024 for eligible individuals. The offering for Spring booster is currently for:

  • Individuals aged 75 years or over
  • Residents in care homes
  • Those under 75 who are immunosuppressed (as per green book definition)


The Vaccination Centre has been temporarily relocated to the location below:

Appointments for the Vaccination Centre can be booked here, alternatively walk-ins are welcome to attend on the following days. Please bring photographic ID with you.

Vaccination Centre is open:

  • Saturday 09:00-16:00

Covid-19 vaccines have been approved for use in the UK and are available in Northern Ireland.

The vaccines have met strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness set out by the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

  • Spring 2024 booster

    Please see below eligibility criteria for the Spring 2024 booster. The Booster will be available to all who are eligible at the Vaccination Centre at the Royal Victoria Hospital from 15th April 2024.

    • Individuals aged 75 years or over
    • Residents in care homes
    • Those under 75 who are immunosuppressed (as per green book definition)

    The Spring Booster programme ended on 30/06/23.

    The first booster and Autumn booster programme ended on 31/03/23.

  • Children aged 5 to 11

    Children who are immunocompromised can receive their vaccination at the Vaccination Centre at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

    You can make an appointment for your child at our Vaccination Centre using the online booking system here. Currently appointments are available on Monday 08:00- 17:20 and Saturdays between 09:30 and 15:45, we will also accept walk-ins during this time.

    Children aged 5-11 an now receive two doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Second doses can be given 8 weeks after the first dose.

  • First and second dose Covid-19 vaccine

    First, second and booster doses of the vaccine are still available until 30th June 2023, if you have not yet received them.

    You can get a second dose of vaccine eight weeks after your first.

    Appointments and walk-in slots are available at the Royal Victoria Hospital Vaccination Centre. You can book an appointment here.

    You can also get a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at a local pharmacy.

  • Covid-19 vaccination in Northern Ireland

  • Eligibility and ID

    Please bring photographic or personal ID when you are going for your vaccine. Acceptable forms of ID include:

    • passport
    • driving licence
    • bus pass
    • carer’s card
    • household bill
