Making Communication Accessible

All Health and Social Care staff are committed to ensuring that people can understand the information they are given about their health and care. We also want everyone to be able to get involved in decisions that affect them.

This ‘Making Communication Accessible for All‘ guide will help you ensure that people get the communication support they need, for example through having a British Sign Language (BSL) or Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpreter or an advocate with them.
