Chaplains
Any illness can be a worrying experience for patients and families. You may experience different emotions and have a number of questions.
Chaplains visit wards regularly and listen to patients. They support the hospital community through their presence and prayers. The chaplaincy service is confidential and available to people of every faith and background. Read more about the chaplaincy service.
Interpreting service
There is a regional interpreting service for all Health and Social Care organisations throughout Northern Ireland. For patients who do not speak English, hospital staff will arrange a face-to-face interpreter.
The service has more than 200 professional interpreters covering 33 registered languages.
