Learning disability services

A career in Learning Disability services is one that is very rewarding.

The roles we will be recruiting for can be based across a number of locations from community sites, Iveagh and Muckamore. There are great opportunities to develop your career, whether you are looking to start or to develop your career further.

Care & Support workers

Working as part of a team which provides care and supports adults with a Learning
Disability in the area of accommodation and social care.  Roles start at Band 3 level but go up to Band 5 offering you great career progression.

Nursing roles - all levels

Nursing within learning disability services offers you the chance to develop great relationships with service users and their families. We offer nursing roles within our acute and inpatient settings from Band 5 positions to all levels within nursing.

Social Work roles - all levels

Social workers in this service will assess needs, risks and plan care for adults with a diagnosed Learning Disability aged 18+. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support people to reach their potential and live as independently as possible.

Day Care Worker roles

We have a number of Day Care facilities across our Learning Disability services. Our staff enjoy working here as they get to develop new skills such as Makaton language skills. Roles start at Band 3 level within this service.

Allied Health Professional roles

We have opportunities for all AHP roles within LD services. From Physiotherapy to Speech and language therapy, they all work as a core part of our Multi-disciplinary team to help support our service users.
