Your local leisure centre is a great place to start getting active, with lots of choice to keep you motivated.

Visit the Belfast City Council website to see a list of leisure centres / facilities within the council area.

Parks

Walking is one of the easiest and cheapest ways of enjoying the outdoors and keeping fit. Why not get down to you local park and try out one of the walking routes recommended by Belfast City Council

Belfast has a wide variety of parks, sports pitches, playing fields, open spaces and playgrounds. It is also home to a diverse range of trees, wildlife and horticulture, as well as attractions
like Belfast Zoo, Malone House and Belfast Castle. For more information click here.

Cycle Routes

Cycling can be a great way to see the city and the surrounding countryside, and Belfast is becoming increasingly cycle-friendly with plenty of cycle lanes, off-road paths and riverside tow paths to try.
