What the service does

Our audiology department provides a full range of screening, diagnostic and rehabilitation services related to hearing. We care for all age groups.

The services we provide include:

  • newborn hearing screening
  • paediatric audiology clinics
  • adult direct referral clinics

We use up-to-date technology and techniques to create an individual management plan for each patient.

Who provides the service

Our team is made up of:

  • registered audiologists
  • registered associate audiologists
  • newborn hearing screening coordinator
  • newborn hearing screeners
  • clerical and admin staff

How to access the service

New patients who want to access our service should seek advice from their GP.

Existing NHS hearing aid users should contact our service directly using the contact details below. An answerphone is currently active on our main number.

    • Option 2 – replacement hearing aid batteries

Replacements and repairs

Replacement hearing aid batteries and/or tubing can be obtained on request by telephone, email or text (see above).

Please include your name, date of birth and address with any requests for batteries or supplies. Please be aware these items can take up to 10 days to arrive.

If you need your hearing aid repaired or have lost your hearing aid, please contact us.

Please note that hearing aids lost or damaged through negligence or neglect may incur a fee to replace.
