Involving carers in our work

Carers play a vital role in supporting people who are ill, frail or have a disability. We are committed to improving the range and quality of support we provide for adult and young carers.

We also want to ensure that carers are real and equal partners who are involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of services.

Improving how we communicate with carers

We would like to improve how we communicate and share information with unpaid/ family carers.  If you provide care, help or support a family member or friend, we want to know the best way to share this information with you.  This will help us to develop a plan to better communicate with carers.

Tell us the best way to share information with carers by completing the questionnaire available here.

How to get involved

If you would like to get involved in our carer services, please email the Carer Support Service at CarerSuppSvcs@belfasttrust.hscni.net to register your interest.

If you would like to get involved more generally in the work of the Trust, further information may be found at
