Learning Disability and Autism AwardsJosephine Grant, Manager at the Learning Disability Residential & Short Breaks unit won the “Registered Manager of the Year” Award at the inaugural Northern Ireland Learning Disability & Autism Awards.

Both Josephine and her team work hard to provide a high quality and person centred service to adults with a learning disability.

At the same event, TILLI (Tell It Like It Is) won the “People’s Award” which is a great recognition of all the work they do to ensure our service user’s voice is both heard and central to all we do in the Belfast H&SC Trust.

Congratulations also to Jane McGowan, Manager at Shaw’s Avenue who was a finalist for the “Breaking Down Barriers” Award and to Audrey Patton, Occupational Therapist who was nominated by Mencap for her outstanding contribution to the lives of children with a learning disability.
