Last night saw a glittering awards dinner held in Belfast City Hall where the winners of the 2018 Chairman’s Awards were announced.
This year we have had an incredible 162 entries, the highest number of submissions ever, reflecting the outstanding work happening across all services in Belfast Trust.
It was down to the judging panel to make the difficult decision as to the winners in each of the six categories along with a special recognition award. The categories reflect the Trust’s objectives – safety, quality and experience, service delivery, strategy and partnerships, people and culture, resources and finally the WOW category, which recognises a member of staff or team who have gone the extra mile and consistently demonstrates the Trust values.
Belfast Trust Chairman, Peter McNaney, said: “I believe firmly in the exceptional achievements of our staff, either as individuals or as a team and these awards are an opportunity to celebrate these and recognise all that is being done for our patients, clients and carers.”
