Conversations on Carer Poverty: the Drivers, Impact and Remedies

This lecture will explore the main drivers of poverty among unpaid carers, how this impacts carers and public services that interact and rely on them, and what practical measures can be introduced to reduce the rates and impact of carers in poverty. The panel of experts will share insights from the recent Carers Poverty Commission’s report into the scale and drivers of carer poverty and it will detail the integral role that unpaid carers play in wider society.
