Putting Carers on the map

Belfast Trust is delighted to once again participate in celebration Carers Week 2024, focusing on this year’s theme of ‘Putting Carers on the Map’.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

Across Belfast, there are over 40,000 people providing unpaid and family care to loved ones and Belfast Trust recognises the invaluable support that carers play in our local communities.

As part of Carers Week, Belfast Trust Carers Support Service have organised a range of events for carers focused on support and wellbeing. View the full programme of events.
